fourth of july!~

For the 4th we went to b-town (Boise) to visit with the Homs and also it was sydneys 3rd birthday on July 3rd. We left for Boise on July 2nd and didnt get there untill 3am July 3rd! the traffic in ogden was horrible becasue of construction then it took us FOREVER to get out on the highway. But we thought we would drive in the night for Sayla so she would just sleep the whole time, which luckly she did so it wasnt all that bad but poor ry had to drive the whole way becauase we were towing the Jet Skiis behind the truck. The Bloms ( Michelle, Scott, & Cody) came that next day around the afternoon, they brought the airstream behind there car. Then the bensons came late that night around 11 or 12. Sydneys birthday party was a blast lots of little tykes were there running around the sprinklers and playing with chalk on the side walk. The bensons brought there boat and we had the jet skis so we had a blast durring the day with boating. Sayla loved the boat so much it would just put her right to sleep. For the 4th we had all the kids in matching outfits from old navy ( I love old navy baby clothes!) they all looks so cute in there little outfits ( it was just hard to get a good picture of them all looking at the camera). all in all the trip was a blast! It was Saylas 2nd trip out side of utah and she is only 3 months!

Our Angel

Our little sweetheart had to have surgery on July 7th at primary childrens hospital. We are so blessed to have her in our lives she means more to us than any thing in the world we just feel like the luckiest parents to have her as our daughter she is so sweet and we love her so much. As parents it was the hardest day of our lives to hand her over to the surgeon and put our trust in him to take care of her. We are so greateful for everyones prayers and love durring all of this. We know she was watched over by our heavenly father and felt everyones love & prayers for her. She has been so great and is recovery amazing. We love you Sayla Solana you are our little angel.

Happy Fathers day Dad

Sayla went all out for her dads first fathers day and so did woody ;) she got him a daddy love childrens book there is a picture of daddy reading it to her she loved it and stared at the book the whole time. She also got dad one of his fav. games ticket to ride (we are going to kill the homs next time we play) she go dad a fathers day tie and mom got him some flowers (i know more for mom than dad but we love the smell of fresh flowers in our house) and made him a scrapbook of our first 1 1/2 years together before little sayla came along. he got pretty spoiled but he deserves it he is a great dad and husband and we love him so much. here are some pictures of that day!~

i love this little dress on sayla~! here is daddy holding her how her cousin sydney used to loved to be held from her dad, sayla went swimming for the first time in our townhome pool when it was a nice day and not to many kids in the pool she didnt like it to much at first but then she loved it, she looked so cute in her swimsuit.

First Plane Ride

So sayla went on her first plane ride out to california on tues june 10th to the 13th to pappis boat in marine del ray. She did so great on both plane rides, Say just slept the whole time. the only hard part was having to deal with the airlines these days, they like to charge fro everything like car seat bags and checking bags. They dont even let you pre board with an infant anymore. The trip was great we got to hannah dance aat universal studios and go on some fun rides. Sayla loved Pappys boat and slept great on it. She got to meet her great grand parents (walts parents) also her cousin Ayla who had the same due date as Sayla but she was born a month or so earlier than that (there names are so close and us parents didnt even know that until we named them, its kinda cute that there names and due dates are so close) Grandpa bought sayla her first swimsuit and he made sure it was a one piece haha ;) cute pappy. but all in all the trip was great! we had a blast in california we got to see where ryan grew up in thousand oaks its beautiful there in the california hills.

updates

Well here are some updated pictures...She is growing up so fast she is already 2 months old and had to get her shots the other day and that was horrible the poor girl had to get 2 shots in each leg! There is a picture with grammy and pappi in her blessing dress and also she went camping for the first time over memorial weekend up in midway in grandparents bloms airstream with grandpa blom, the bensons and cody, uncle nick. When we got home from the camp out we walked in to a leak in one of our sinks and it had leaked thru the ceiling down to the laundry room so we have to get the room re painted and dry walled. Also a picture on my first mothers day, sayla got mommy the movie juno becasue thats the last movie i saw when i was still prego with her. and woody got me a card & work out clothes. Ryan got me some beautiful lillies that made the whole house smell amazing for a week straight also some spa bath stuff! It was a great mothers day we went to church with grandma blomquist then ate dinner up at schwarz's. Sayla is going on her first airplane ride tomorrow so wish us luck that she does well ;)
